In 1982 Peugeot released a special edition PH12 to celebrate its illustrious 100 years as France's premium bicycle manufacturer. Its head badge proudly wears the 1882-1982 timestamp. This particular specimen is in showroom condition and shows almost no signs of wear and tear.

The PH12 celebrated Peugeot's innovation and featured an elliptical seat tube and integrated cable routing for both the gears and the brakes. The bike is flatteringly described in the catalogue as "an aerodynamic bicycle of space age design" which sounds rather quaint today.

All components are original down to the wearables like Michelin tires, Benotto bar tape and pristine chain. Lovely Peugeot branded Simplex derailleurs, Stronglight crank, CLB brakes, Maillard hubs. Gorgeous Brooks Professional saddle. Only the brake cables have been replaced. The only missing component is the hard-to-find aero water bottle.
